Made up of youth, parents, business owners, local leaders, and neighbors from all different walks of life, NEWINGTON PRIDE is a grassroots group committed to promoting dialogue, education, and public awareness, and ensuring the visibility, safety, wellbeing, and empowerment of our town’s LGBTQIA+ community.

OUTREACH
To increase public awareness, visibility, and normalization of queer identity in Newington.
EDUCATION
To educate the public on the diversity of queer identity and support LGBTQIA+ youth and their families.
ADVOCACY
To address systemic challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ people and push for equity through policy & activism.
COMMUNITY
To celebrate, empower, center, and foster community for LGBTQIA+ and queer-identifying people in Newington.
